On our way over our Indian cab driver explained that “Kansas city is very nice, but there are no gyms. The people are so fat.” He also mentioned that Chicagoans are fat as well. As of 2006, he appears to be dead on. I was also surprised to hear that when he goes back home to India, he hires a car and driver, but apparently it only costs $750 a month.

Update: My dad is now sharing a room with the father of Amada Peet. I wonder if she has a blog?
